U.Mi-1 returns with more of the cubist influence, provided this time by Picasso's famous painting The Musicians, and its signature use of contrasting colours and textures. Prince of Wales check serves as the backdrop to rich blue and khaki brown cotton, creating depth in the tailored trousers and jackets. Just as cubism evolved into a simpler, flatter and decorative style, Gozi's versatile collection shows she has grown into a more astute designer, embracing simpler forms while maintaining her strengths.
